Wilmington – Cape Fear Home Builders Association Carrières en construction


The Wilmington – Cape Fear Home Builders Association will partner with the Southeast Area Technical High School for an upcoming event: pumpkin carving with power tools.

The event, to celebrate National Association of Home Builders Careers in Construction Month, will take place on October 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. onsite at the high school.

The hands-on and fun experience will allow students to learn how to use different power tools while learning about the construction industry as a whole. During the event, members of the association and representatives of the school will be on site to interact with the students and discuss the various professional paths in construction.

Finding skilled labor continues to be a challenge for the residential construction industry. The association, throughout the month of October, will participate in a few events to highlight the construction trades, raise public awareness of the construction trades, in the hope of inspiring the next generation of construction professionals. craftsmanship while having an impact on perceptions of a construction career.
