in dongfengyun city, China, where artist luo xu designed a series of distinctive reds brick sculptures “50% cloud” restaurant through CCD follows the region’s distinct design language, while establishing its own unique identity. incorporating a series of art deco elements, the new building appears as a mega art installation, rippling with clouds in the sky.

absence of the island collaborated with etain ho studio to design the “today is long” Coffee in Hong Kong, as a place to house the fond memories of Australian owners and their shared passion for great coffee. inspired by australia’s golden sunset, the design uses warm orange-red as the theme color, while drawing outer and inner hemispheres that resemble setting suns.
