Interior designer Hugo Sauzay presents Brooksfield S / S 2018 collection
Hugo Sauzay and his professional partner Charlotte de Tonnac have made waves on the Parisian interior design scene with their firm Festen Architecture. “I like architects who take landscape into account in their designs,” says Sauzay, whose minimalist and organic aesthetic of the company can be seen in sleek hotels and private residences, from a space renovation. from office in Fitzrovia in London to the interior design of a cottage in Normandy, France.
“Like Geoffrey Bawa, Peter Zumthor, Eduardo Souto de Moura and Luis Barragán… we like to study the past of a building, the history of its neighbors, the sound, the traditions. Like an actor when he starts playing a role, ”adds Sauzay about Festen Architecture’s approach. Think striking black steel kitchens, a hotel restaurant wrapped in bright orange tones and lush foliage, and bathrooms paved with gray tiles and stone slabs.
Sauzay also has a soft spot for prints, which is why the interior designer was a natural fit to model the tropical florals and versatile wardrobe classics that make up the Brooksfield P / S 2018 collection. For his work wardrobe, Sauzay is looking for ‘basics with beautiful materials’, a winning combination that reflects the visual language of the Torinese brand.

“We like to immerse ourselves in the time of the place, adds Sauzay. He cites the interior design of the Hotel Les Roches Rouges on the Côte d’Azur and the realization of a wooden house facade facing the sea at Cap Ferret as recent projects. The Hotel Les Roches Rouges offers rooms populated with vintage Provencal objects, sections of orange, ocher and ocean blue, and a swimming pool that falls into the sea. What better time to score points of style and summer holidays ?
