Hazbin Hotel Series Reveals New Alastor Character Design

A24’s upcoming Hazbin Hotel series, based on the 2019 YouTube webisode, has unveiled its brand new design for Alastor the Radio Demon.

A24 to come Hazbin Hotel series, based on a controversial 2019 YouTube cartoon pilot, has unveiled its all-new design for Alastor the Radio Demon. The announcement of the series in August 2020 drew a controversial response from the general public. Some claimed the show was too vulgar, while others expressed excitement.

The original webisode that inspired the series, created by YouTuber Vivienne Medrano (username Vivziepop), revolves around Charlie, the Princess of Hell, who wants to solve overcrowding by opening a hotel that “rehabilitates sinners”, ultimately leading them to redemption and thus sending them to heaven. Unfortunately, none of the inhabitants of Hell have faith in Charlie’s project. Alastor, known throughout Hell as the “Radio Demon”, sees this as an opportunity to cure his boredom, as he wants to see the people of Hell fail to redeem themselves for his amusement.


This morning, Hazbin Hotelit’s official Twitter posted a photo of their new design for Alastor. The caption tells all of the show’s subscribers to “Smile,” like “today is the day to meet Alastor.Check out the post below:

Last month, the Twitter account posted a photo of their redesign for main character Charlie (which also included his new last name, Morningstar), which was met with a positive response. As of now, the show has no official release date, nor any word on the cast. Medrano has kept her lips tight regarding any information regarding the upcoming series. His other YouTube webseries, infernal bosshowever, continues to air new episodes on the same channel.
